“Guaranteed Buyer” will be able to start electricity export

The State Enterprise “Guaranteed Buyer” has registered on the EAP platform to participate in auctions for the allocation of capacity of interstate intersections in the Romanian and Moldovan directions. This was reported by ExPro, citing a publication by “Ukrenergo”, which owns the EAP platform.

As previously reported in ExPro, the “Guaranteed Buyer” has repeatedly initiated auctions for electricity exports on the Ukrainian Energy Exchange, but they were ineffective due to lack of demand.

According to ExPro monitoring data, electricity exports in April 2025, compared to the previous month, almost doubled - to over 150 thousand MWh.
