Ukrnafta resumes gas sales on the exchange

At the auction, the company sold 2.6 mcm of gas in underground gas storage facilities at a weighted average price of UAH 21,670 per tcm (excluding VAT) or UAH 26,004 per tcm (including VAT).

The company last sold gas on the exchange in the first half of March 2026. In total, Ukrnafta has sold 36.8 mcm of natural gas on the exchange in 2026. Since entering the exchange in November 2023, the company has sold 807.453 mcm of natural gas.

Currently, the company is selling natural gas from underground gas storage facilities that was injected before April 2025.

As a reminder, since April 2025, Ukrnafta has been required to sell its entire current production to Naftogaz at a fixed price of UAH 12,000 per tcm (including VAT) to fulfill its public service obligations. Later, the Cabinet of Ministers extended the special obligations for Ukrnafta until October 2026.
