Electricity imports in April decreased by another 30% - to 187 thousand MWh

Electricity imports to Ukraine in April 2025 decreased by another 30%, compared to March 2025 - to 187 thousand MWh, according to ExPro monitoring.

The largest share of electricity was supplied from Hungary, 44%, Slovakia and Poland (18% each). The peak of imports was on April 11, over 20 thousand MWh, and after April 20, the volumes of electricity supplied from abroad significantly decreased.

At the same time, electricity exports in April 2025, compared to the previous month, almost doubled - to over 150 thousand MWh.

 

The largest amount of electricity was exported on April 22-25, over 11 thousand MWh. The largest amount of electricity was exported to Hungary (38%) and Moldova (35%).
