The court again arrested the corporate rights of Ukrnaftoburinnya - DBR
The Pechersk District Court, at the repeated request of the Prosecutor General's Office and the State Bureau of Investigation, again seized and transferred to ARMA the corporate rights of Ukrnaftoburinnya PC PJSC and other enterprises (Sakhalinske LLC, Sirius-1 LLC, and East Europe Petroleum LLC) that were developing Sakhalin oil and gas field in Kharkiv region. This is reported by the SBI.
One may remind that in April the court already seized the corporate rights of these enterprises. However, on May 3, the district court canceled its earlier decision to seize the corporate rights of Ukrnaftoburinnya.
However, already on May 4, the Pechersk District Court again arrested and handed over Ukrnaftoburinnya to ARMA management.
"The SBI warns "interested" persons against similar decisions regarding the rest of the arrested enterprises and promises to act just as quickly and principled. For the Bureau, state interests have always been the most important activity priority," the SBI said in a statement.
As reported by ExPro, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv transferred the corporate rights of Ukrnaftoburinnya PC PJSC to the balance of ARMA. According to the Youcontrol portal, the company is associated with Igor Kolomoiskyi, Pavel Fuchs, and Vitaly Khomutynnik.
The arrest and transfer of the company are being carried out as part of the investigation of the criminal proceedings regarding the development of the Sakhalin gas field (Kharkiv region).
Ukrnaftoburinnya is one of the largest gas production companies in Ukraine. According to ExPro, the company will be among the top 3 private gas production companies in the country in 2022.
At the same time, Ukrnafta requested that the seized corporate rights ofUkrnaftoburinnya be transferred to its management.
