The court transferred the corporate rights of Ukrnaftoburinnya to ARMA

The Pechersk District Court of the city of Kyiv, by a decision of April 11, 2023, transferred the corporate rights of Ukrnaftoburinnya PJSC to the balance sheet of the National Agency of Ukraine for the Identification, Search, and Management of Assets Obtained from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA). This is stated in the court register.

According to the Youcontrol portal, the company is associated with Igor Kolomoiskyi, Pavel Fuchs, and Vitaly Khomutynnik.

The arrest and transfer of the company are being carried out as part of the investigation of the criminal proceedings regarding the development of the Sakhalin gas field (Kharkiv region).

One may remind, according to the materials of the State Security Bureau, the court seized the corporate rights of three companies that illegally appropriated the subsoil of the Sakhalin oil and gas field. These are Sakhalinske LLC, Sirius-1 LLC, and East Europe Petroleum LLC. The rights have been transferred to the management of the Agency for Search and Management of Assets.

Ukrnaftoburinnya is one of the largest gas production companies in Ukraine. According to ExPro, the company will be among the top 3 private gas production companies in the country in 2022.

The UNB company has not yet officially commented on this decision.
