Taras Pasazhko will replace Roman Chumak on the Naftogaz management board
The supervisory board of Naftogaz of Ukraine at its meeting on September 5, 2025, decided to dismiss Roman Chumak from his position as a member of the Naftogaz management board as of September 16, 2025, according to ExPro Daily Gas.
Roman Chumak has been a member of the Naftogaz management board since September 28, 2021. From December 4, 2024, to April 28, 2025, Roman Chumak was acting CEO of Naftogaz until the appointment of the current head, Serhiy Koretskyi. Chumak had long served as CFO of the Naftogaz Group.
Additionally, at the meeting on September 5, the supervisory board elected Taras Pasazhko as a member of the Naftogaz management board for a three-month term, from September 17 to December 17, 2025. Since June 2025, Taras Pasazhko has been working as director of strategy and business development at Naftogaz.
Before joining Naftogaz, he worked as head of the investment and analytics department at Fozzy Retail and as director of the strategy and organizational development department at Agrarian Company 2004.

From 2021 to 2023, the position of Director of Strategy and Business Development at Naftogaz was held by Serhiy Boiev, while in 2024-2025, the Chief Strategist of Naftogaz was Serhiy Glazunov, who joined the state company from Vadym Novynskyi’s Smart Energy group.
