Ukrainian Energy plans to acquire seismic at the Varvynske area by the end of 2021

The American Ukrainian Energy plans to acquire seismic at the Varvynske area by the end of 2021, although lawsuits with Ukrgasvydobuvannya appealing the victory of the American Company in the PSA competition are ongoing. This was stated by Alina Bodayeva, CEO of Ukrainian Energy, during a speech at the Ukrainian Energy Forum 2021.

Recall that back in July 2019, the Cabinet of Ministers published the order on determining the winners of the tenders for the conclusion of the hydrocarbon production sharing agreements for 9 areas, one of which was won by the American Ukrainian Energy LLC.

Additionally, according to the data of the EIA Register Ukrainian Energy plans to drill 3 exploration and appraisal wells up to 5,000 m deep based on the 3D seismic survey of at least 700 square kilometres.
