Ukraine to add over 300 MW of distributed generation under RSE–Metropoliya project

RSE s.r.o., together with the Metropoliya Group of Companies, is implementing a distributed generation project with a total capacity exceeding 300 MW in Ukraine’s energy sector. The companies announced the project, ExPro reports.

The project is already under implementation, with commissioning scheduled for completion by the end of 2026.

Project expands cooperation after completed installations in 2025

The initiative marks the next phase of cooperation between the companies following projects implemented in 2025 for industrial enterprises, logistics complexes, and energy companies across various regions of Ukraine.

Among the completed projects, the companies mentioned installations for Aquafrost LLC, Logistic Union LLC, and Axis Gasenergo LLC.

RSE to manufacture cogeneration units of up to 4.5 MW

Under the partnership, RSE s.r.o. is responsible for manufacturing modular cogeneration units with a capacity of up to 4.5 MW each.

The equipment is produced at the company’s facility in Brno and undergoes full factory assembly and testing before delivery to Ukraine.

Metropoliya responsible for full project execution cycle

Metropoliya Group is responsible for the full project implementation cycle – from technical concept to grid connection.

The scope of works includes engineering, installation, and commissioning.
