Romanian Prospectiuni wins UGV’s 3D seismic tender worth UAH 379.9 million
UA Geo LLC, the Ukrainian subsidiary of Romanian company Prospectiuni, has won a tender by Ukrgazvydobuvannya JSC (UGV) for conducting 3D seismic surveys at the company’s fields, according to the latest issue of ExPro Gas&Oil Monthly.
Details
If the contract is signed, the Romanian company will carry out 3D seismic surveys for UGV at the Zakhidno-Mazharivska and Rozumivsko-Mazharivska areas in Kharkiv, Poltava, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. The total survey area is 590 sq. km. The contract value is UAH 379.9 million (including VAT). The timeframe for the work is 370 days, but no later than September 30, 2026.
The company outbid Georozvidka from the Zakhidnadraservice Group (UAH 380 million) with a lower price. However, UA Geo must now address certain discrepancies before the contract can be signed. Among the discrepancies reported by UGV is that the number of seismic vibratory sources must be no less than 5 units, while the contract with UA Geo provides information on only 4. Additionally, the lease contract lacks information confirming ownership rights to the digital multichannel station for 3D MWH MSGT Quantum (INOVA) surveys.
According to ExPro, Prospectiuni already has experience operating in Ukraine, having conducted 3D seismic surveys for Poltava Petroleum Company. As reported by ExPro, Romanian company Prospectiuni enters the Ukrainian seismic exploration market.
UGV 3D seismic surveys
As previously reported by ExPro, Georozvidka from the ZNS Group will carry out 3D seismic surveys at the Hrushiv-Zaluzhanska area in the Lviv region for UGV. In addition, Enterpraiz LTD will conduct 3D seismic work at the Tarkhanivska area in the Sumy region.
