Kosul Company plans construction of well No. 2 on Kovalyvsko-Sulymivska area

Kosul LLC intends to build well No. 2 on the Kovalyvsko-Sulymivska area for exploration of gas and condensate deposits and arrangement and connection of this well via gas flowlines and inhibitor pipelines. This was reported in the Unified EIA Register on October 6, 2021, as well as in our periodicals for subscribers EXPRO Gas&Oil Daily PROCUREMENT and EXPRO Gas&Oil Weekly

Drilling is provided by a drilling rig with a lifting capacity of at least 345 tons, with diesel drive. The design depth of the well is 5,660 m, the target horizon is V-19 С1V2.

During the construction of well No. 2 of the Kovalyvsko-Sulymivska area, it is expected that the maximum static wellhead pressure will be at the level of 85.0 MPa, the expected flow rate will be 350 tcm a day and the wellhead working temperature will be up to 45 °C.

The mineral rights for the Kovalyvsko-Sulymivska area are held by Kosul LLC (its head beneficiary Rinat Akhmetov is  through DTEK OIL&GAS DEVELOPMENT B.V.), which back in 2020 announced a tender for "turnkey" drilling well No. 1 on Kovalyvsko-Sulymivska area with a depth of 6,300m.
