Kosul plans to construct well #1 on Kovalyvsko-Sulymivska area with a depth of 6,300m

Kosul LLC plans to develop a prospecting well #1 of Kovalyvsko-Sulymivska area (Poltava region) for the purpose of exploration of gas and condensate deposits. This is reported in the EIA register.

According to the report, drilling of a prospecting well #1 of Kovalyvsko-Sulymivska 6300m depth using the drilling rig Bentec 450 (2000 Horsepower) Hook load 450 tonnes, or Drillmec 1500 Horsepower) Winter with Hook load 345 tonnes with diesel drive is planned.

The drilling method is rotary, using a hydraulic DDM, combined. This drilling equipment is operated by a subsidiary of Belorusneft – Service Oil LLC, which is currently performing drilling operations on the order of DTEK Naftogaz.

It is also planned to connect the specified well with the laying of a gas pipeline (flare) and an inhibitor pipeline and the construction of a three-phase separator unit for separating and well rate measuring. The design maximum flow rate of natural gas at the inlet to the unit at a pressure of 0.1013 MPa and a temperature of 20°C is 500 thousand cubic meters per day.
