In November, the state trader “ECU” carried out imports for the first time through its Slovak ECU Europe
In November 2025, the state energy trader Energy Company of Ukraine (“ECU”) carried out electricity imports for the first time through its Slovak subsidiary ECU Europe, s.r.o.

Details
In November, ECU made a test delivery from Slovakia via ECU Europe amounting to 357 MWh. Also in November, the Ukrainian company resumed imports from Moldova through its Moldovan subsidiary ECU EAST.
Additionally, ECU has contracts with other foreign traders for imports; this was reported in more detail in ExPro Electricity Monthly.
Overall, in November, Energy Company of Ukraine imported 10.2 thousand MWh, ranking 5th among importers for the month.
Over 11 months of 2025, ECU imported 227 thousand MWh of electricity.
