In November 2025, DAM prices in Ukraine were at the price-cap level in 31% of hours

In November 2025, hourly prices on the day-ahead market (DAM) in the IPS of Ukraine were at the upper price cap limits in 31% of settlement periods. This is evidenced by ExPro's calculations based on data from the Market Operator.

The highest level of reaching the price caps on the DAM in the IPS of Ukraine is observed at 17:00 – 100%, meaning that every day in November the price for this hour reached the maximum limit.

Also, the level is high at 16:00 – 86.7%, or during 26 out of 30 days. The level of reaching the upper limits is low during nighttime hours – 3–13%.

For comparison, in October 2025 the level of reaching the price caps in hourly prices was only 13%.

Electricity prices in November

According to the Market Operator, in November the baseload index on the DAM in the IPS of Ukraine increased compared to the previous month by 6.7% to 6,387 UAH/MWh. The peakload index increased much more significantly, by 20%, to 7,406 UAH/MWh. In total, 2.8 million MWh of electricity were sold on the DAM in November, which corresponds to the October level.

The weighted-average price on the intraday market also remained almost at the level of the previous month – 6,658 UAH/MWh. The volumes traded in this segment decreased by 9.4% to 228.6 thousand MWh.
