Gas import exceeds 50 million cubic meters per day
On Saturday, Ukraine imported 50.27 million cubic meters of gas from the EU countries, which is the highest rate since March 31, 2017. This is evidenced by the data of Ukrtransgaz GTS operator.
In particular, from May 1, imports from Slovakia increased almost 3 times and on Saturday delivery volumes amounted to 32.28 million cubic meters of gas. Hungary has received 13.7 million cubic meters and another 4.29 million cubic meters - from Poland.
Last year, on that day, gas imports amounted to 37.18 million cubic meters, which is by 35 per cent lower than this year, or by 13.09 million cubic meters.
As reported by ExPro: On the first day of May, Ukraine imported 46.84 million cubic meters of gas from the EU countries, which is more by 15.27 million cubic meters in comparison with the last day of April.
