Arkona Gas-Energia plans to drill two wells at SvistunkivskoChervonolutske GCF

Arkona Gas-Energia LLC performs the construction (arrangement) of exploration wells No. 5 and No. 6 of the Svistunkivsko-Chervonolutske gas and condensate field (GCF) for the exploration of the Lower Visean carbonates to identify their commercial value.

The design depth of the planned well #6 is 5,670 m; well #5 is 5,845 m.

For the construction (arrangement) of the wells, it is planned to use a diesel-powered drilling rig with a capacity of up to 7,000 kW and a load capacity of at least 400 tons. The drilling method is combined (rotary+hydraulic downhole motor). In addition, it is planned to lay gas flowlines and inhibitor pipelines to the TGTP with an approximate length of up to 5,600 m.

Work on the construction of exploration wells #5 and 6 of the Svistunkivsko-Chervonolutske GCF is designed for approximately 400-472 days for each well. The construction of exploration well #5 is designed for 2022-2023. Well #6 construction term is 2025-2026
