Zakhidnadarservice has completed a 3D seismic survey at the Sadzhavska area within the Uhnivska PSA

Well Co LLC, which is part of the Zakhidnadarservice group, has completed a 3D seismic survey at the Sadzhavska area, with a scope of 39.2 square kilometres of effective (usable) area, within the Uhnivska area, which was provided under production sharing agreement (PSA), the Group informed the ExPro editors. Thus, Well Co became the first of all the winners of PSA tenders to conduct seismic surveys at the new PSA area.

The seismic survey at the specified area started on June 4 2021. Geophysical works were carried out by the company from the orbit of the Zakhidnadarservice Group Georozvidka, which has the necessary modern equipment and a staff of highly qualified specialists to carry out these geophysical works. The data obtained during these works are already being processed by specialists using the latest technologies and modern computer programs, and will be used in the future to prepare promising areas for drilling.

Therefore, the processing of the obtained seismic data and geological interpretation is given another 3 months, and drilling of the first exploration well at the Sadzhavska area is planned in 4 months, TD 1,600- 1,800m, depending on the interpretation results, the company noted.

According to Zakhidnadarservice, the next step for continuing geological exploration within the Uhnivska area, namely, conducting 2D seismic survey with total coverage of 107 square kilometres is the Tershakivska (Uhnivska 5) area.
