Ukrnaftoburinnya reached a record daily production rate of natural gas

Ukrnaftoburinnya has successfully completed well No. 20, which resulted in the significant increase of the daily production rate at the Sakhalin field, reaching a record level of over 2 million m3 of natural gas.

The main contractor for the construction of well No. 20 was LLC Drilling Company Ukrburservis. When testing the B-16 formation at a depth of 5,000 meters, a commercial inflow of the gas condensate mixture was produced with a flow rate of 260 thousand m3 of gas and 50 tons of gas condensate.

«The results of the well completion are quite significant. Moreover, this well helped the company open a new pool, which had not been previously used for commercial production», - said Volodymyr Novikov, the Head of the Geology Department.

«We intend to maintain this positive dynamic in the drilling and production of hydrocarbons for the next two years», - said Michael Bakunenko, the Chairman of the Executive Board of PrJSC MC Ukrnaftoburinnya.
