Ukrnafta has commissioned well #103 of the Verkhnyomaslovetske field with a flow rate of 29 tons per day

Ukrnafta has completed the construction of an oil well at the Verkhnyomaslovetske field in the Skolivskiy District of the Lviv region, the press service reports.

In the course of drilling, the target horizons were recovered, coring was completed, and wireline formation testing and logging (geophysical well survey) was performed.

Ukrnafta specialists managed to reduce the delivery time by 11 days. Work began on September 14, 2021, and on October 26, the well was completed by drilling.

Well #103 met expectations. Its daily production is 29 tons of oil. The actual depth of the exploration directional well is 1,455 m with a reach of 570 m, and the maximum deviation angle is 38°. Ukrnafta specialists constructed the well, having involved third parties to provide some services, including:

•  Weatherford for directional drilling;
•  Silur Plast for geological and technological surveys;
•  Schlumberger for bits and fluids;
•  NewTech Ukraine for coring services;
•  Bulat for SCC (stage cementing collars).

The Verkhnyomaslovetske oil field was discovered in 2001 by exploration well #1. The field is located in the Lviv region, at an altitude of 800 m above sea level. This is the only field discovered in the Carpathian region in the 21st century.
