Ukrnafta cancels tender for purchase of hydraulic fracturing fleet
Ukrnafta PJSC has cancelled the previously announced tender for the purchase of a hydraulic fracturing fleet with an expected value of about UAH 574 million (excluding VAT). The relevant information was published in the ProZorro system, according to ExPro Gas Daily.
The procurement was cancelled on July 19, 2025, at the stage of receiving tender proposals due to reduced expenditures for Ukrnafta’s procurement. According to the comment, the decision was made based on the need to optimise and review costs. Due to the difficult financial and economic situation and the need to allocate funds for priority needs, the purchase of the fracturing fleet at this stage was deemed impractical.
At the same time, the company emphasises that the need to purchase the relevant equipment remains relevant and will be implemented when the necessary financial resources are available.
Ukrnafta announced the procurement of the fracturing fleet in early June 2025. It envisaged the purchase of a set of equipment for hydraulic fracturing works to increase the efficiency of hydrocarbon production.
