UGV resumed production from well #9 of the Ulyanivske field with a flow rate of 75 tcm of gas

Ukrgasvydobuvannya (Naftogaz Exploration and Production Division) received an inflow of 75 tcm of gas per day after capital workover of the well at the Ulyanivske field in the Dnipropetrovsk region, the division's press service reports.

The company notes that the Ulyanivske field is among the Top-40 of its priority assets. Its prospective resources reach 1 bcm of gas. To discover this potential, the company's developers are currently drafting a new work program for the field.

In particular, the program has already managed to get a positive result at well #9. It has been operating since 2001 and has produced 26

8 mcm of gas in 20 years. However, due to the depletion of the productive horizon, production stopped. During the capital WWO, they discovered a new gas-bearing horizon, which had not yet been operated at this field, and received a commercial gas inflow. The well's flow rate is 75 tcm per day. Production at the Ulyanivske field increased to 205 tcm per day.
