The state trader "ECU" is suing "Ukrenergo" for UAH 194.8 million

State energy trader "Energy Company of Ukraine" is suing transmission system operator "Ukrenergo" for UAH 194.8 million.

The court opened proceedings in the case, the decision was published in the Unified Register of Court Decisions.

According to court documents, JSC "Energy Company of Ukraine" appealed to the Commercial Court of Kyiv with a lawsuit against PrJSC "NPC Ukrenergo" for recovery of UAH 194,896,572.43, of which UAH 184,936,239.85 is principal debt, 7,238,889.84 UAH losses from inflation, UAH 2,721,442.74 at 3% per annum.

As stated in the decision, the claims are based on the improper performance by Ukrenergo of its obligations under the contract on the settlement of electricity imbalances No. 2309-01024 dated 07.18.2022 in the part of payment for electricity for the settlement of imbalances.
