Smart Energy spudded a new well in Kharkiv oblast

On November 16, Ukrgazvydobutok, a part of Smart Energy Group, spudded well #29 at Ostroverkhivske field (Kharkiv region). Drilling of a new well with target depth of 4,650 m is scheduled to be completed in Q2, 2022. In case of further successful testing, production hook-up is expected in Q3 next year.

Well #29 is an appraisal well, targeting exploration of hydrocarbons deposits in the Visean stage and in the top of crystalline basement as well as specification of attitude of gas-water contacts of the Serpukhovian deposits at Ostroverkhivske field. Drilling is provided by company Ukrburservis with NOV 2000 HP DC drilling rig (Derrick load capacity of 400 t).

Earlier, at the end of October Ukrgazvydobutok successfully completed workover on well #62 at Ostroverkhivske field. Meanwhile, in Poltava oblast, Smart Energy Group constructs well #31 at Svyrydivske field and well #4 at Svystunkivsko-Chervonolutske field. Testing of well #29 of Svyrydivske gas and condensate field is also in progress. These three new wells are appraisal wells, targeting production from the Visean formation.
