Service Oil drilled well No. 54 at 5,330 meters for DTEK

Drillers of Service Oil during drilling of the well No. 54 on the Machukhske GCF in the Poltava region are ahead of the deadline by 21 days. The depth of the well, drilled for DTEK Naftogaz was 5,330 meters.

This is the seventh well that Service Oil drillers constructed for the Ukrainian company. During the development of the well, commercial gas inflow was obtained.

Denys Kurylenko, head of the Central Engineering and Technological Service of Service-Oil LLC: Modern equipment was used to optimize the drilling process and reduce construction time. In particular, stinger cementing was used setting the conductor string. To reduce vibrations during drilling in upper intervals V-Stab, a tool from NOV, was used. It was convenient to work with the Schlumberger rotary steerable system, BOP with an allowable working pressure of 1,050 atmospheres, and Weatherford casing stabbing tools, which allow RIH flushing and rotating.

The crew No. 1 of Service-Oil LLC has already started drilling well No. 59 at the Machukhske gas condensate field.
