Serhii Lopushenko Appointed New Board Member of NPC Ukrenergo

Serhii Lopushenko has been appointed as a board member of NPC "Ukrenergo". The decision was made by the supervisory board of the Ukrainian transmission system operator, ExPro reports.

Before his appointment, Lopushenko was responsible for conducting independent internal audits at the company.

He also has experience in internal audit planning and execution, and audit process management, gained in auditing roles at large enterprises across various industries, including Kernel-Trade LLC and Ukraine International Airlines. Additionally, since 2022, he led the special investigations and fraud issues group in the Internal Audit Service of Naftogaz of Ukraine.

He received higher education in “Economic Cybernetics” at the Kryvyi Rih Economic Institute of Kyiv National Economic University.

As previously reported by ExPro, the supervisory board planned to appoint a sixth board member to the position of Chief Risk Officer (CRO) as part of its commitment to strengthening corporate governance and transparency.
