Olga Borodina heads the Procurement Management function of Naftogaz

Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC has singled out a separate corporate function of Procurement Management, headed by a newly arrived employee, an expert with experience in Royal Dutch Shell and Shell Sahalin - Olga Borodina, the press service reports.

The main goal of Naftogaz's transformation in this direction is to make purchases of materials, equipment, and services more efficient, which will allow the Company to work faster and cheaper, and get closer to international standards.

Therefore, as Naftogaz noted, Olga Borodina (a citizen of the Netherlands), who has 20 years of experience in the energy sector, 15 of which were devoted specifically to working with supplies and purchases, was invited for this specific purpose.

The new team member has an ambitious goal – to achieve 10-15% savings on all purchased goods and services. She will be responsible for the full implementation of the unified Supply Chain Management System (SCM). The function will handle the following Group business processes:

  •  needs management;
  •  category management;
  •  procurement management.
