Oleksandr Shevelov appointed Head of Communications Department at Naftogaz

Oleksandr Shevelyov has been officially appointed as the new Director of the Integrated Communications Department at Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC, according to ExPro sources within the company and the market.

Shevelov’s Experience

Before joining Naftogaz, Shevelov worked as a Strategic and Crisis Communications Project Manager at DTEK. He spent nearly eight years with the DTEK Group, starting as Head of Communications at DTEK Oil & Gas.

In addition, Shevelov worked for over two years at the OKKO Group, where he was also responsible for the company’s communications.

Oleksandr Shevelov holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations from the Kharkiv State Academy of Culture and a master’s degree in media communications from V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

Changes at Naftogaz

Before Shevelov, Maryna Tomko-Bankovska held the position of Head of the Integrated Communications Department. As previously reported by ExPro, Serhiy Koretskyi has been appointed as the new CEO of Naftogaz.
