Goryzonty purchased a second gyroscope inclinometer for measuring oil and gas wells

Goryzonty Drilling Company LLC in October purchased a second gyroscope inclinometer for measuring oil and gas wells. The company informed ExPro about this.

DC Goryzonty remains the leader in Ukraine in the field of measuring wells with a gyroscopic inclinometer. Over the past three years of work, more than 30 borehole measurements and 10 orientations of deflector wedges in cased and open shafts have been carried out.

"The new device will make it possible to perform work in pipes with a smaller diameter. Investing in new equipment allows us to perform work that was technologically impossible until now," Stepan Kozytskyi, director of DC Goryzonty, commented.

Based on the results of previous work, DC Goryzonty established that a large part of the wells showed an error in determining the actual outcrop by more than 25m, and in some cases by more than 150m. According to the company, significant deviations in the outcrop affect the results of hydrodynamic modeling of the formation.

DC Goryzonty uses modern equipment from the Stockholm Precision Tools company, which makes it possible to determine the trajectory of the wells with the most minor error.
