Goryzonty purchased a license for Zhukivska area for UAH 90 million

Goryzonty won the auction of the State Survey of Geology and Subsoil of Ukraine (SSGS) for granting a license for the mineral rights for Zhukivska area. This became known from auction results.

The company won with an offer of UAH 90.001 million, which is 17 times higher than the initial lot price of UAH 5.3 million. Zhukivska area is located 9 km from Poltava (acreage – 55.72 sq km). The license is valid for 20 years. The cost of geological information is UAH 2.17 million (with VAT). The cost of the tender pack is UAH 72.55 thousand (including VAT).

Four companies participated in the auction: Goryzonty (part of the Zakhidnadraservice Group), Gaz-MDS LLC (the media relate it to Pavlo Fuks), Regal Petroleum Corporation (Ukraine) Limited LLC (Smart Energy), and Naftogazopromyslova Geologia LLC (Burisma). In the third round of the auction, Goryzonty won, having offered the highest price.
