Four companies passed Ukrgazvydobuvannia's pre-qualification for participation in PEC projects

Baker Hughes Ukraine LLC (the subsidiary of the American corporation Baker Hughes, a GE company LLC) , the Chinese consortium of companies uniting Energy Engineering Xinjiang Baker and Oil Engineering Zhongshi Shengli, the Romanian Expert Petroleum Solutions SRL, and also the Ukrainian-British JVE Poltava Oil and Gas Company have passed pre-qualification, while competing for Production Enhancement Contracts (PEC) for two clusters of gas fields developed by JSC Ukrgazvydobuvannia (UGV) in Western Ukraine.

The next step will be signings of non-disclosure contract by each pre-qualified participant to obtain an access to the virtual data-room with complete information on the project.

After the examination of information (within 3 months allocated), the participants ought to provide their commercial proposals concerning the terms of cooperation on each of the clusters (lots).

After consideration of commercial proposals, UGV will hold additional round of commercial negotiations with the participants regarding each of the two lots, and sign contracts with the winners to move further with the project.

By way of reminding, at the beginning of April 2019 UGV relaunched the PEC project for expanding natural gas production in Western Ukraine.

According to the project, UGV plans to sign contract with 2 winning companies for each group of reservoir clusters, with onward provision of available UGV’s infrastructure to prospective contractors to move forward with committed investment program on production enhancement of natural gas.
