Burisma Group will build a turboexpander at the Vodianivska GDS

Burisma International Energy Group has started construction of a turbo-expander unit at the gas distribution station (GDS) at Vodianivske field. This was reported by the company press service.

Reportedly, the operation of a turbo-expander will allow the company increasing the profitability of gas production and reducing the cost of operations.

Director of the Board of Directors of Burisma Group - Karina Zlochevska noted that “Burisma Group is constantly investing in innovative technologies to increase energy efficiency and adaptability of business processes. At the same time, we remain adherents of eco-friendly business operations and prefer environmental friendly solutions.”

Turbo-expander units are intended for the electricity generation at the GDS by releasing the energy at the moment of gas transition from the high-pressure gas pipeline to the medium and low-pressure gas pipelines.
