Yevgen Palenka will head Poltavaпasмydobuvannya
September 5 2018, Mr. Yevgen Palenka was appointed as Director of PoltavaGasVydobuvannya Gas Production Division to replace Mr. Oleksandr Kobeza, who is promoted as First Deputy Chairman of the Board of UkrGasVydobuvannya JSC. This was reported to EXPRO by several sources.
Formerly, Mr. Yevgen Palenka was First Deputy Director General of Smart Energy for more than one year, and served as Financial Director in Regal Petroleum PLC [adivision of Smart Energy-Ed.]. Also, Mr. Yevgen Palenka held top finance management positions in JKX Oil & Gas plc. He is a member of АССА (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), and mastered finance and economy at Kharkiv State University (Ukraine) and Oklahoma State University (USA).
Noteworthy, PoltavaGasVydobuvannya Gas Production Division is a part of UkrGasVydobuvannya JSC. In 2017, PoltavaGasVydobuvannya produced 6,076 bil cbm of natural gas, or nearly 40% share in total annual gas production by UkrGasVydobuvannya, and 325.8 thousand tin of gas condensate and light oils, or 70 % share in total annual production by UkrGasVydobuvannya. PoltavaGasVydobuvannya is developing 712 wells at 42 oil&gas fields in Poltava, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Dnipropetrovsk Regions.

ODESA OFFSHORE CONFERENCE-2019
Ukraine has every chance to resume the work of the most promising oil and gas region, the Southern oil&gas fields. The untapped deposits of oil and gas are located both onshore and subsea. Four companies have already poised to conclude Production Sharing Agreements with Ukraine, whilst bidding for the Dolphin oil&gas fields on Black Sea shelf.
