Weatherford will conduct an engineering assessment of the Ukrnafta gas fund

The American oil service company Weatherford, as part of the cooperation, will conduct an engineering assessment of the gas fund of Ukrnafta PJSC. This was announced by the head of Ukrnafta, Serhii Koretskyi.

The project involves the analysis of production data, based on the results of which a list of technologies will be determined and an assessment of the effectiveness of their application will be carried out. The companies have already signed the necessary partnership agreements.

"Cooperation with Weatherford will allow Ukrnafta to apply modern production intensification technologies at existing wells, which is part of the company's strategy to double production over a five-year horizon," commented Koretskyi.

One may remind, at the end of June, the companies signed a framework agreement on cooperation in the field of oil production.
