Ukrtransgaz was the first operator to register on the wholesale energy market in accordance with REMIT

Ukrtransgaz JSC became the first of the operators in the natural gas and electricity market to fulfill the requirements of the Procedure for Registration of Wholesale Energy Market Participants, approved by the Resolution of the NEURC dated Oct 4, 2023 No. 1812, and was included in the Register of Wholesale Energy Market Participants.

On November 1, 2023, the regulator, in accordance with the provisions of the Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine on Prevention of Abuse in Wholesale Energy Markets", which implements Regulation (EU) No. 1227/2011 of October 25, 2011 (REMIT), published the Register of Wholesale Energy Market Participants.
