Ukrnafta will sidetrack two wells at the Kharkivtsivske field

Ukrnafta PJSC represented by Poltavanaftogaz OGPD plans workovers, including sidetracking of wells No. 3 and 10 of the Kharkivtsivske field (Poltava region) and connecting them to the preliminary gas treatment plant (PGTP) of Kharkivtsi for further hydrocarbon production. This was reported in the Unified EIA Register.

According to the data of intentions, well No. 3 is abandoned after production, and well No. 10 is observation. Workovers will be carried out by drilling of the shut-off cement plugs and deepening by rotary method to the target depth, and running of the high-pressure casing.

Actual/design well depths (MD): No. 3 - 4,958/5,200 m, No. 10 - 5,205/5,483 m. Drilling methods are rotary, combined, hydraulic downhole motor, and pitless. It is planned to use a drilling rig with diesel or diesel-electric drive with a capacity of up to 7,000 kW, according to the planned activities.
