Ukrnafta starts construction of a new well in Sumy region

Ukrnafta PJSC has started construction of a new well in the Sumy region, according to the company's CEO Sergiy Koretsky.

The well will be drilled with the company's own drilling rig. The well is planned as an exploration well. The design depth is 3,314 meters. The goal is to reach the productive horizons of the Visean deposits. Construction is scheduled to be completed in August 2024.

In addition, Koretskyi reports that another in-house rig for drilling a new well is being installed in western Ukraine.
