Ukrnafta plans to drill two oil wells in the Lviv region

On May 2, 2024, Ukrnafta PJSC announced a tender for the turnkey construction of wells No. 3 and No. 23 at Verkhnyomaslovetske field in the Lviv region. The tender was announced on the Prozorro platform with an expected value of UAH 190 million (excluding VAT). The term of services provision is until December 31, 2025.

Companies may submit tender proposals until May 16, 2024; seek clarification or appeal the procurement terms until May 13, 2024.

The drilling will be carried out with a drilling rig with a lifting capacity of at least 125 tons using untreated clay drilling fluids and clay-free biopolymer drilling fluids. According to the tender documents, wells No. 3 and No. 23 – exploration, directional wells. The projected depth of well No. 3 – 1,405 meters, and well No. 23 – 1,415 meters. Ukrnafta expects the free flow rate of the projected wells to be 35 to 46 tons of oil per day.

The contractor shall prepare the sites for the construction of the wells, equip the shafts for the casing heads, install the drilling rig, and drill the wells on a turnkey basis. The contractor shall also install surface casings, conductors, and production strings. During the drilling of the wells, the contractor shall conduct a set of well surveys (geophysical explorations in wells) and provide gamma-ray logging services.

Ukrnafta noted that the wells need to be equipped with wellhead and blowout prevention equipment. Upon completion of the planned works, the contractor shall test the production strings with blowout prevention equipment as well as inter-packer and inter-column spaces for internal and external overpressures.

As a reminder, Ukrburservis LLC and Energofinance LLC won Ukrnafta's tenders for turnkey well construction in the Sumy region and are expecting to sign contracts totaling UAH 1.06 billion (excluding VAT). Ukrburservice will drill three wells at the Buhruvativske field for UAH 598.5 million, and Energofinance – two wells at the Anastasivske field for UAH 461.7 million.
