Ukrnafta launched a new oil well in Western Ukraine

Ukrnafta PJSC launched a new oil well at the Verkhnyomaslovetske field in Western Ukraine. Horyzonty Drilling Company acted as the drilling contractor. This was announced by the head of Ukrnafta, Serhii Koretskyi.

According to Koretskyi, the work was carried out in a short time - a shaft with a depth of 1,244 m was drilled in 32 days.

Currently, the development process is underway, the initial flow rate is 25-30 tons of oil per day.

Prospective reservoirs in the section of this well lie in the depth intervals of 886-1,122 m. So far, the perforation of the deposits in the interval of 1,085-1,122 m has been carried out.

Koretskyi notes that this is already the third well drilled by the company in 2023 within the Verkhnyomaslovetske field. This is also the second well at this field, drilled by Horyzonty. By the end of the year, it is planned to drill three more wells at the same deposit.
