Ukrnafta is preparing to drill a new well in the Sumy region
Ukrnafta PJSC is conducting preparatory work for drilling the next well No. 150 of the Velikobubniv field, located in the Sumy region. This was announced by Ukrnafta director Serhiy Koretskyi.
According to Koretskyi, preparations are ahead of schedule. According to the approved indicators, the installation of the drilling equipment should have started in August, however, as of the end of July, 20% of the installation was completed.
"This is despite the fact that the rig has not worked for many years, and currently the company's specialists are, in fact, performing almost the initial installation," Koretsky noted.
The immediate start of drilling with the help of the company's own rig is scheduled for September 17. It is planned to launch the well into industrial production at the end of December.
According to forecasts, the new horizontal well will provide an initial throughput of 87 tons of oil per day.
As reported by ExPro, Ukrnafta began drilling well No. 105 at the Verkhnyomaslovetske field.
