Ukrnafta canceled the tender for the purchase of electricity for 2023

Ukrnafta PJSC canceled the tender for the purchase of electric energy for March-December 2023 for its divisions throughout Ukraine, for a total amount of over UAH 2.2 billion. The official reason is the lack of further need for procurement, says the Prozorro tender site.

As previously reported in ExPro, the total amount of electricity planned to be purchased by Ukrnafta is 492,834.31 MWh. According to the tender, electric energy was to be purchased for the needs of Okhtyrkanaftogaz, Poltavanaftogaz, Chernihivnaftogaz, Dolynanaftogaz, Nadvirnanaftogaz, Boryslavnaftogaz, Kachanivskoye GPP, and other units.

Several companies were identified as sellers, as 23 lots were put up for tender. Among the winners were Tsentrenergozbut, Pivden Energo Zbut, New Energy Ukraine, Zaporizhzhya Energy Alliance, and others.
