Ukrgazvydobuvannya received the third batch of methanol from USAID in the amount of 600 tons

Ukrgazvydobuvannya JSC (UGV) received the third batch of methanol in the volume of 600 tons within the framework of donor aid from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

As a reminder, USAID provided the company with 6,000 tons of methanol, which is a critical raw material for natural gas extraction, preparation, and transportation. The first batch of methanol arrived at the company's warehouses in February, and the second batch - at the beginning of March.

As reported, in February 2023, UGV concluded a contract with a Polish company for the purchase of 12,000 tons of methanol (almost half of the company's annual needs) at pre-war prices.

As reported by ExPro, Ukrnafta signed an agreement in March to purchase 8,920 tons of methanol by the end of the year.
