Ukrgazvydobuvannya received another 1,000 tons of methanol from USAID

Ukrgazvydobuvannya JSC (UGV) received the second batch of methanol in the volume of almost 1,000 tons as part of donor aid from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). This was reported by the Naftogaz press service.

It will be recalled that USAID provided UGV with 6,000 tons of methanol, which is a critical raw material for the production, preparation, and transportation of natural gas. The first batch of methanol arrived at the company's warehouses in February.

As reported, since the beginning of the full-scale war, UGV has completely switched to the purchase of methanol from European suppliers. "The assistance from USAID will make it possible to create an additional reserve of strategic stocks and ensure a smooth production process until the end of the heating season," the company said.
