Ukrgazvydobuvannya purchased electricity for 2023 with a discount from Day Ahead Market

Ukrgazvydobuvannya JSC held a tender for the purchase of electric energy for the II-IV quarter of 2023 - 5,281 MWh was purchased for UAH 24.3 million. This was reported by the Ukrgazvydobuvannya press center with reference to the results of the Prozorro tender.

Two companies participated in the tender - SC Energy Group and Gas Supply Company Naftogaz of Ukraine. It is interesting that the winner was the private company SK Energy Group - with an offer 2% lower than the expected cost.

According to the YouControl analytical system, Yevhen Sergienko is the head of SK Energy Group. The preliminary purchase price is UAH 24.3 million.

As indicated in the UGV, under the terms of the contract, the price for 1 kWh of actually consumed energy is calculated according to the formula using a discount from the price on the market "one day ahead". According to the contract, the price will consist of the day-ahead market price for the relevant billing month, taking into account the supplier's discount of 1.94%.
