Ukrburservis launches deep well at Koshevoiske gas field for Geo-Alliance

In July 2018 the Skhidniy Geologichniy Soyuz LLC (a part of the Geo-Alliance Group) launches 6,200 m deep well at the Koshevoiske gas field (Mirgorod district of the Poltava Region). The drilling works is being done by Ukrburservis with SL 2500-FC-W-650T rig. It is the third well as drilled with SL 2500-FC-W-650T rig at Geo Alliance’s gas fields. Earlier, they drilled deep wells at Makartsivske and Lutsenkivske gas fields.

Ms. Lyudmyla Kuchmenko, Chief Executive Officer of Geo Alliance Group, said that the Koshevoiske gas field is located on Dniprovsk-Donetsk depression, and is very prospective natural gas asset of Geo Alliance Group.”At the very start of the field development, the communities of the Miyrgorod district has got royalties inflows to their budgets, thus contributing to further well-being of their communities”, as stated by Ms. Kuchmenko. According to her, the Geo Alliance Group’s affiliations made paid UAH 13.2 mil in royalties to various local communities’ budgets of the Poltava Region.

The group unites 19 business entities, with the Prirodni Resursy LLC(Natural Resources) and the Skhidniy Geologichniy Soyuz LLC as leaders in the industry. In 1H of FY2018 the group produced 104.3 mil cbm of natural gas and 23.2 thousand ton of gas condensate. The shareholders of the group are the Arawak Energy Ukraine BV (a daughter company of VITOL) and the Geo-Alliance Oil-Gas Public Limited of Viktor Pinchuk.
