Ukrainian electricity is NOT supplied to the annexed Crimea - "Ukrenergo"

Ukrainian electricity is not supplied to the Crimea annexed by Russia, and the Zaporizhzhya NPP, located in the temporarily occupied Energodar, operates exclusively under the command of the Ukrainian dispatch center.

This was officially reported by the operator of the transmission system of NEC "Ukrenergo".

"0 kilowatts of Ukrainian electricity will be transferred to Russia and Belarus from February 24, 2022. The Zaporizhzhia NPP operates exclusively in the energy system of Ukraine under the control of the control center of NEC "Ukrenergo". Not a single kilowatt of Ukrainian electricity is transmitted or supplied to the temporarily occupied Crimea," Ukrenergo emphasizes.

As the Ukrainian system operator adds, the Ukrainian energy system, which is synchronized with the networks of continental Europe, does not have any connections with the energy system of Russia, Belarus or with the temporarily occupied Crimea, which is now powered by the energy system of the aggressor country.

It was previously reported that the occupiers are restoring the damaged electrical infrastructure connecting Kherson Oblast and Crimea. And the self-proclaimed head of Crimea, Serhii Aksyonov, announced the completion of works on the restoration of power line towers.
