Ukraine started importing gas through a new entry point on the border with Moldova

On July 7, 2023, Ukraine began importing natural gas through a new entry point to the Ukrainian gas transmission system on the border with Moldova - Oleksiivka. It will be recalled that in June, the NEURC set the tariff for the entry point Oleksiivka, which allowed to start importing natural gas through this point. The tariff is standard for interstate entry points - $4.45/tcm (without VAT).

In general, almost 200 tcm of natural gas were imported through Oleksiivka in the first 4 days. All gas imported through Oleksiivka goes to the "customs warehouse" of Ukrainian UGS using the virtual reverse mechanism. It is currently unknown who exactly imports natural gas at this point.
