Ukraine produced more than 637 bcm of natural gas during the years of independence

During the years of independence, Ukraine produced a total of 637 bcm of natural gas, the press service of Naftogaz of Ukraine reports.

According to Naftogaz, this is the cumulative result of the production of two countries at once - Romania and Italy - for the same period.

In addition, Ukraine transported 3.377 trcm of natural gas during the 32 years of its independence. Roughly the same amount of gas was consumed by a total of 6 European countries during this period: France, Turkey, Romania, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Switzerland.
