UGV starts 3D seismic research in western Ukraine

Ukrgazvydobuvannya JSC (UGV) is starting 3D seismic surveys in the west of Ukraine, Oleksiy Chernyshov, Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC, announced.

According to him, together with the involved companies, UGV specialists will conduct research on the territory of more than 1.5 thousand square km. This will help to obtain detailed geological models of hydrocarbon deposits located at depths of up to 5 km.

"The planned research is the most extensive of this technology, which was conducted in Ukraine. Thank you to our specialists who work every day to achieve energy independence," the chairman of the board emphasizes. Despite the war, we continue to work on increasing the production of Ukrainian gas," said Chernyshov.
