UGV produces 120 tcm of natural gas per day at an old well after perforation

Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC (UGV) has performed additional perforation at one of the old wells, producing 120 tcm of natural gas and 9 tons of condensate per day. This is reported by the press service of UGV.

UGV notes that this is a significant volume for the field, which has been in operation since 1993 and is more than 75% depleted. Currently, its recoverable reserves are estimated at more than 5 bcm of natural gas.

"The employees of one of our gas production departments together with the specialists of the perforation unit of Ukrgazpromgeophysics completed the work in a short time, having managed without a workover rig, thus significantly reducing production costs," said Oleh Tolmachev, CEO of Ukrgasvydobuvannya.
