UGV launches new compressor stations

Ukrgasvydobuvannya is implementing a program for the construction of small booster compressor stations (SBCS) aimed at stabilizing gas production at depleted fields, the press service reports.

Due to the commissioning of 8 facilities, the company will receive an additional 42 mcm of gas over the next year.

4 compressor stations have already started operating at the Rozumivske and Maksalske fields, the IGTPs at Shebelynske field, and the Eastern Block of Yuliyivske field. Together, they provide an additional 60 tcm of gas per day.

"Next year, we plan to launch 10 more SBCS based on the model of operation of the complex gas gathering system in PipeSim, and at least 4 to overcome the problem of seasonal production fluctuations, in particular at the Svydnytske and Borivske fields," Oleg Tolmachev, Deputy Director of the Naftogaz Exploration and Production Division for Production said.
