UGV launched 14 new small booster compressor stations

Ukrgazvydobuvannya JSC (UGV), which is part of Naftogaz Group, in the first half of 2023 launched 14 small booster compressor stations (SBCS), the company's press service reports. This is more than for the entire previous year.

According to the company, the task of SBCS is to optimize the pressure in the gas collection and transportation system, which helps to raise additional cubic meters to the surface and produce more gas from the wells of the low-rate fund.

UGV expects to obtain an additional almost 100 mcm of natural gas this year with the help of leased SBCS.

"This will be another important contribution to achieving our goal of fully providing Ukraine with its own gas in the next heating season," the company notes.

It will be recalled that at the beginning of July UGV drilled the deepest well in its history - 6,600 m.
